Need The Plant Manager of a major production site for a global chemicals company wanted to polish up his presentations. He’d risen through the company on his technical expertise and felt his presentations and speeches could have more impact.
Solution He met with the businessfruit coach for 2 x 4 hour coaching sessions, four weeks apart. As part of the preparation, there was an initial telephone conversation to clarify the coaching goals and to check that he would be comfortable working with this coach. For each session the Plant Manager prepared and presented some actual presentations he was working on, so each session was strongly linked to his direct needs. Topics covered included both improving structure, bringing in Think on Your Feet® techniques, and developing personal style, including video feedback to aid coaching on vocal and visual impact.
Results The Plant Manager had very positive feedback from his colleagues and audience over his revised presentations, delivered with greater energy and impact.
